[Free Seminar for Parents] For Those Who Want to Foster Independence in Their Children
Hello, my name is Kaburaki.
I want to foster a sense of independence.
I think many parents feel that way. However, the more parents who feel that way, the more...“Reasons Why It Doesn’t Work”There are
From now on,It’s not enough just to acquire knowledge; you need the ability to think for yourself, make choices, and take action.will be.
I have emphasized the importance of non-cognitive skills on various occasions in the past.
In the age of AI, the need for these skills has become even greater. There are surely many parents who think, “I want my child to have those skills, too.” However—this is where it gets surprisingly difficult.
We speak to our children with their best interests in mind. We help them when they’re struggling. We correct them when they’re about to make a mistake. All of these actions stem from our love for our children. But does each of these actions truly lead to the future we truly wish for our children?
“Listen to your child,” “encourage them to think for themselves,” “let them experience failure.” Even if you find yourself thinking, “That makes sense,” when you’re actually faced with your own child—there’s a surprising difference between knowing what to do and actually being able to do it.
Why is that? And what can parents truly do to help their children develop the resilience they need to navigate the future?
In this seminar,I won’t tell you that “this is the right way to raise children.”
Think, write, and listen to what other parents have to say while keeping your child in mind. Through this 90-minute participatory session,"What was it that I really wanted to cherish?" I wondered,Find the answer within yourselfWe will take it.
This seminar is perfect for people like you.
✔︎ I want my child to grow up to be someone who can think for themselves
✔︎ I want them to acquire the skills that will truly be essential in the years to come
✔︎ I want to know how to nurture non-cognitive skills at home
✔︎ I end up trying to anticipate things, thinking it's for the child's sake
✔︎ Even though I tell myself, “I’ll just watch over them,” before I know it, I find myself butting in.
If any of these apply to you, please feel free to join us.90 minutes later, my child—who’s usually just the same—might look a little different.Maybe not.
