The 2nd [Harumi Fun Event] event report!

On the recent February 18.Second "Fun Event" held at Harumi SchoolI did!
The theme of this year's event isMoney Management, Entrepreneurship.So, we played "two games" this time. First,Lemonade stand gameIt is.
The students had to maximize their profits in seven days. To do so, they had to adjust pricing and product quality control. By changing these elements, they were able to realize that customers' willingness to buy changes.

My first student's reaction was, 'I don't know this game, but it looks fun. (Actually, I played this game quite a bit as a kid in the U.S.)
As you may know, we had to make various decisions throughout the game that would affect later gameplay.
All participants decided to go to college to get a higher paying job. A good choice. Other choices included when to start a family, whether to take the dangerous or safe path, and whether to buy a house or not.

Throughout the game we had to make a number of decisions which would impact the gameplay later on. We also had some other choices like when to start a family, to take a risky path or safe path, or whether or not to buy a house. Good decisions were made and students learned about the importance of making good life choices!
They are free, fun ways to maximize English immersion, learn life skills, and have fun!
