This book entitled “Beatrice Doesn't Want To”talks about one girl named Beatrice who didn't like books. this changed one day after she heard an interesting story from a librarian.
Aside from the interesting story, the book also has some notes to help parents encourage their kids to like reading like Beatrice.
Surround children with books and writing. Rather than rewarding them with more toys or games, how about using books and simple reading materials ?
2. set aside time for reading. Sharing time with your kids to read a simple book can be a good way to enjoy time together while learning.
3. make reading an active experience. Try asking things about the things they read. If we ask a lot of questions, the kids will think more deeply and be more curious.
How was it?
How about starting reading with your child?

I have often heard such comments as, "I would rather play games than read! I often hear children say, "I'd rather play games than read! I often hear children say, "I'd rather play games than read! I would like to introduce a book called "Beatrice Doesn't Want To" to parents who have such concerns.
In this book, the heroine, Beatrice, is a girl who is indifferent about reading, but after hearing an interesting story about a librarian, her perception of books changes. Why is that?
You, too, can start making reading more fun by telling your children interesting stories, just like the girl in this book.
① Fill the child's surroundings with reading material. What do you think about making reading materials and books more of a reward than toys and games?
(ii) Make reading time together. If you are a child, you can have fun time with your mother or father. You can use that time for reading, and if you notice the fun feelings and become more familiar with them, you may be able to enjoy reading on a daily basis.
(iii) Be active in reading. Try to talk with your child about the knowledge he or she can learn from books. Asking lots of questions will deepen your child's understanding and make him or her more curious.
What do you think?
Why not take this opportunity to start reading with your child?
What's the class atmosphere and lesson content like?"
