All of the students who participated in these four days, even though the recent heat made them exhausted at times,Enthusiastic about every activityThey gave us!

The theme of this year's boot camp is. A day in the life experienceIt was.

Specifically.We learned how four different professions are practiced on a daily basis: "triathlete," "scout (orienteering)," "volunteer at a foster care center," and "pastry chef."

The “boot camp,” as it is called, aims to build English and teamwork skills in addition to their professional experience,Adopt a system in which teams are formed for each activity, and participants earn points by working together to solve problems and themes.I did.

Q.What were your expectations before attending the event?

A place where you can play and learn in English.

I am nervous and shy in an English environment and have some barriers, so I am hoping that through fun activities, I will be a little more open-minded.

We wanted the students to spend more time exposed to English and to develop their vocabulary naturally while having fun.

Summer school abroad seemed like a hurdle, so I wanted them to get used to an English-language environment for their daily life before that.

Q. What changes have you seen in your child through the event?

Through interaction and experiences with friends.Positive attitude (usually passive)I felt a sense of growth when I could hear from the stories of the students after they returned home.

I've been thinking a lot about shelter dogs.

During the event, there were some disagreements between the children and they acted alone, but the teachers carefully guided them through the process,Opportunity to learn anew about behavior and cooperation in a groupI am very happy to have been able to be a part of this project. Thanks to this, I feel that I have been given the opportunity to grow little by little.

I'm going to try to make it a little bit,English came out in a flash.This is a good thing.

Q. Did you discover anything new or learn anything new that you could do after participating in the event?

I learned a lot about shelter dogs.

... I now know how dogs feel, and I know I'm not very good at making last minute announcements.

I learned that the dog shelter has a limited number of days that dogs are allowed to be in their care.

I can hear English now.
