The nine most prestigious and prestigious public schools in England in terms of tradition and achievement are called "The Nine". This course is designed to help you gain admission to these schools or to a Prep School where you have a high chance of success.

Kinder Course

In small groups of 6 students per class, we use picture books, flash cards, and textbooks to develop listening and speaking skills. Students also learn phonics using worksheets.

Target: Simultaneous acquisition of the following 1) to 3) in 2 years

(iii) Cross-cultural understanding and responsiveness, GLOBAL MIND

Lesson: (1) Commuter group lesson / 60 minutes per lesson x 1 time per week
(2) Lessons utilizing the Internet (mainly Zoom) / 25 minutes per lesson x 1 time per week
*This is a review-type lesson to ensure the results of the commuting lesson.

CLIL & Immersion Courses

A "full-fledged English 4 skills program" that has produced many elementary school students who have obtained Eiken Level 2.
Through small-group lessons with native English-speaking teachers (6 students per class), students learn to read, write, listen, and speak English, which is necessary to survive in the global society of the 21st century, and to acquire GLOBAL MIND. In addition to twice-weekly lessons in the classroom, home lessons using Zoom will further enhance the learning effect and help students achieve their goals, which are clearly defined for each grade level.

Reference level for each class

≪ AA≫.: Target: Preschool children
In small groups, we use picture books, flash cards, and textbooks to develop listening and speaking skills.
Using worksheets, students will also learn how to write the alphabet and phonics.

≪BB≫.: Target: Elementary 1 / 2 (Level: Eiken Level 5)
This class is designed to help students learn how to write ABCs and simple words.
Students will also be able to answer questions from the teacher in simple English and explain familiar topics in English.

≪ CC ≫.: Target: Elementary 3 (Level: about Eiken Level 5/4)
Phonics study will begin in earnest. The goal is for students to be able to understand pronunciation, write simple compositions, and read simple English books. In speaking, the goal is to be able to speak sentences of at least 3 words.
In addition to learning English words and phrases, students will be able to explain familiar things and objects in English.

≪ DD ≫.: Target: Elementary 4 (Level: about Eiken Level 4/3)
Students will learn tenses such as past and future tenses, to produce sentences with correct grammar, and to be able to write their own opinions in multiple sentences.
We also begin to explore the world in order to gain an international perspective.

≪EEE.: Target: Elementary 5 / 6 (Level: Eiken Level 3 / Pre-2)
Students will be able to understand more complex grammar such as perfect and passive tenses and be able to write essays with proper grammar.
In addition, they will deepen their interest and further expand their knowledge of the world.

≪FF.: Target: Elementary 5 / 6 (Level: Eiken Level 2 / 2)
It is one of the top elementary school programs.
Assuming that students understand most English grammar, the course aims to establish advanced English skills through presentations and essay writing.

GLI Personal(for children, elementary, middle and high school students)

This is a personalized tutoring course designed to meet your child's goals and objectives for "education, English proficiency, and higher education". We will listen to your child's goals and objectives, such as "I want to take the English Proficiency Test by a certain time," "I want to prepare for the special entrance examination for junior high school and the comprehensive type selection for university entrance examinations," and create an original curriculum that is calculated backwards to the goal. In addition, our "Study Prep Coach" and "Motivation Coach" will also support your child as a team, helping him or her not only to achieve his or her ideal English proficiency, but also to advance to higher education.

The middle and senior courses are designed to prepare students to enter international schools in Japan, such as Showa Women's University International Course and Saku Nagasosei Summit Academy.

Junior Boarding Course(for children, elementary, middle and high school students)

This is a tutoring course for students who wish to enter boarding schools overseas.
This is a preparatory course for those who are considering studying at an overseas school. We will make an individualized plan to help you pass the exam, taking into consideration your current English proficiency, your target school, and the length of your stay.
This is a complete tutoring session of 70 minutes per session. What you need to do for the entrance examination for overseas junior and senior high schools is of course the English score, but you also need to answer unanswerable questions in the interview about your future, what you want to learn at the school, your past study history, and the value you can offer once you enter the school.
Therefore, GLI aims to develop not just English language skills, but lessons that enable students to discover their own interests in the world, as well as speaking and writing skills that enable them to express these interests logically.
