Presentation Day] Parent Survey

Hello, my name is Erica from GLI!

The recently heldPresentation Day" was a great success. It was!

Harumi
Hiroo
Musashi Kosugi

Handed out after the event. We received very positive feedback in the survey. So, we would like to share with you a survey of the parents who participated in the program!

Q1: What was your overall evaluation throughout the meeting? (Number of responses: 7)

(5) Very good: 5
Good: 2 persons

Q2: Regarding your answer to question 1, please explain why.

It was the first time I had the opportunity to present in English in front of an audience, and the teachers gave me a lot of support by recording the audio for me to practice during the lessons and at home. It was also good to hear other children's presentations.

I am not good at public speaking, even in Japanese. I think I experienced a great sense of accomplishment. It was a very good experience.

The content was more challenging than the previous session and showed that the students had worked hard.

I think it's important to have the opportunity to present in public.

I was able to understand the level of the students in the classes above me. I think the children themselves were able to visualize what lies ahead of their own efforts.

I think they were a little nervous, but the usual relaxed atmosphere was maintained, and each of the four seemed to be able to give a presentation without any unusual exertion.

Each of them has done their own original research and approach to the subject matter they are interested in. They are nervous but confident in their presentations.

Q3: Are you happy to have your child participate in Presentation Day?

(5) Very good: 6 persons
Good: 1

Q4: Regarding your answer to question 3, please explain why.

Although he was disappointed with the content of his presentation, I think he gained a great deal of confidence. My daughter said that she would like to actively participate in various events in the future! I think my daughter's attitude toward English has changed a little.

I think I was able to experience something that is not easy to experience even at school. I felt that the students had grown in the way they presented their presentations loudly and proudly in spite of their nervousness.

Improved public presentation skills

I'm very grateful for the opportunity to read the book aloud.

I apologize for the lack of practice, but I think he was able to experience the situation in his own way and felt what he should be like.

I love being able to express myself in front of you all, and I think I was able to feel a greater sense of accomplishment having completed the FF.

It is easy to imagine that there were many obstacles and hurdles to overcome, but I think the fact that we were able to face the challenges and complete the presentation gave us the confidence to do so.

Q5: What did you think of Presentation Day and what did you notice?

I was very happy to receive many compliments from the teachers after the presentation. Thank you very much for this valuable experience.

At first she did not want to participate and did not seem to want to get on board, but as the day of the presentation approached, she began practicing at home (in her room by herself, unnoticed by her parents) and set a goal to be able to say the words without looking at the manuscript.

I think I grew up through the experience of having a goal, working hard to achieve it, and achieving results every day. It was a very good experience. Thank you very much.

I think it would have been more interesting and emotionally rich if the text was different for each person instead of the same format as everyone else.

Thank you very much for inviting us to participate in this first challenge. I was very impressed to see the children's hard work up close. I am sure it was the result of your daily guidance. Thank you for your continued support.

Thank you very much for a wonderful meeting with a very friendly atmosphere.

The size was just right. If there were too many people, it would take a long time and the children would lose focus, but the children were able to listen to each other's presentations with great interest. The distance between the presentations was also close enough to allow the participants to look at the audience's faces while giving their presentations. It was also good to catch a glimpse of the children's personalities and English language skills during the Q&A session.

...

Thank you very much to all the parents who responded to the survey!

Based on your comments and suggestions, the entire staff will strive to make it even better, and we look forward to working with you in the future.
