In online lessons, we watch over the students and ask them if they are having any problems.

If we do this more, it will make the lesson more effective. This is a person who will think together with you.

Of course, we are always available to consult with students and parents.

Supported by a team of mentors

(1) Checking children's condition and progress in detail by patrolling lessons.

(2) Immediate feedback on good points and improvements found during the patrol

(iii) Monthly report to share with parents the month's progress.

4) Interviews and coaching as needed in addition to regular interviews

In response to parents' requests for more concrete information on how their children are doing during online lessons and how well they are learning, we assign a mentor to each student, who works with the instructor to provide advice and support not only on English learning, but also on study habits at home.

Mentor Introduction

Lead Mentor/Coach Masami Hasegawa

I have been teaching middle school, high school, and college entrance exams for 17 years.
We have guided students from a deviation score of 30 to 70 through home study coaching by proposing specific study content according to individual learning goals and study tasks.
We have a track record of success at national and Waseda-Keio universities, and at high schools such as Hibiya and Toyama.
He has worked with over 5,000 children and parents regarding career guidance, educational counseling, and coaching.
He is currently in the process of obtaining his International Coaching Federation (ICF) license.
His hobbies are visiting good food, road biking, and driving, and his special skills are snowboarding (with a domestic license) and cooking both Japanese and Western food.

Mentor Aya Komura

He has 8 years of teaching experience in English classes for children and has worked with children of all ages from infants to high school students as a classroom leader.

We love to see children enjoy English, discover new things, and grow through lessons and events using English from their own unique perspective.

We all have times when we lose confidence or dislike English, but we hope that our students will not only get a good score on the test, but also feel a lot of joy in being able to communicate with others through the words they utter.

I am from Onomichi City, Hiroshima Prefecture and love the scenery of the calm Seto Inland Sea.

Mentor Shogo Kikuchi
After graduating from university, worked as an English teacher at a public junior high school. She then went to Australia to study tourism. After returning to Japan, she worked as a foreign tour guide and at a major foreign-affiliated travel agency.

Currently, she works as a staff member at Seika Gakuen High School Inquiry Academy Tokyo, and also works as a mentor for GLI Online, while juggling her duties.

He loves to travel and has visited about 10 countries abroad. His wife is Taiwanese. He calls himself "a lover of his wife's cooking.

Mentor Donita Salve Rentoy

Hello, I am Donita from the Philippines! My name is Donita and I am from the Philippines. I am currently living in Japan.

I feel very honored to be able to study English with Japanese children.

From my own experience, I know that learning another language is not an easy task for a foreigner, as there is a lot of anxiety.

However, I also want you to know that "learning" is much more fun when you have a motivating environment and supportive teachers. I look forward to providing such support to you.

We will continue to be actively involved so that our mentors can be a familiar and reassuring presence for the children!
