OL Event Report] 2/18 Valentine's Day Celebration

GLI Online holds monthly events where you can enjoy learning English with online teachers.

February is "Valentine Celebration! (Implemented on 2/18)

Many students from online & each school building, as well as those who were new to GLI, participated in the event!

Report on Valentine's Day event!

On the day of the event, the "dress code" for teachers and participants was "red" as in Valentine's Day!

Many participants wore "red" to the event.

Online events that anyone can "participate" in

When we plan an event, there are certain things we are aware of.

Well, this Valentine's Day event is more than just "handing out chocolates".

After studying trivia about the history of Valentine's Day and how it is spent in other countries, we were divided into groups.

We talked with the teachers about topics appropriate to our level.

What kind of flowers do you like?

Did you give anything to your family?

What is Cupid?

The conversation was lively until the end of the hour.

Then, the mission is to "present" what each group has talked about to everyone else in the group!

The presentation may sound very difficult, but with the support of the teachers, all the groups were able to present very well!

Then, a Valentine's Day card-writing activity for family and friends.

I wrote messages in English to say "Thank you" and "I love you".

Certification awarded to all participants

For those who participate in our online events, we always end the event with

Certificate of Participation.

The word "conferring" may sound a little exaggerated, but each person is called by name by the teacher.

You all look so proud when your friends applaud you.

I actually really like this section for awarding certificates of participation.

(The certificates of participation are very nice, different designs every time!)

We hope you will participate in many events and collect many Certifcation!

The next event will be a presentation day on Sunday, March 5!

Online students will present the results of their studies to date.
