On Sunday, February 19, one of GLI's most popular events, theInternational Day" was held.The first time the company was founded, it was in the process of being reorganized into a new company!

This year's theme countries areKazakhstan.It was.

The International Day to Kazakhstan was a wonderful experience for all students, from "boarding the plane" to landing in Kazakhstan. (If you are wondering, "Boarding a plane? Click on the video.)

Guest speakers from Kazakhstan joined us, and the students felt right at home, while kids of all ages got to understand more about the country and get a feel for Kazakhstan.

I was particularly impressed by the students' willingness to ask questions of their own after listening to the guest speakers.

The last flight was a junior high school studentIt was with the Here,Life and culture in Kazakhstan in comparison with JapanThe focus was on the following. At the end of the activity, the students presented what they had learned about the differences from Japan and what impressed them.

Was it a great experience for the students and guest speakers to learn from each other, an experience that could be written down in a book? I think so.

Our International Day to Kazakhstan was an amazing experience to all students, from boarding the plane to touching down in Kazakhstan. It gave students of all ages an understanding and feel of the country with the help of our guest speakers from Kazakhstan at the comfort of their homes.

Our first flight was with the elementary students. Students and teachers were able to take a class with local Kazakhs and learn how to write their names in Kazakh. Everyone was excited to share the new knowledge they acquired. Next, the students got to listen to our guest speaker from Kazakhstan, and she gave them a tour of Kazakh lifestyle. In turn, the students were engaged in asking questions of their own to the guest speaker.

Here the focus was to see Kazakhstan's way of life and culture in comparison to Japan's. At the end of their activity, the students presented the differences that they learned and what stood out in their minds the most.
