Hello, this is Kaburaki, GLI representative.

 

GLIでは、多くの保護者様からのリクエストを受け、第２・第４土曜日に「Daycare（デイケア）」を開催しています。GLIのDaycareでは

 

In a completely English-speaking environment

Each time there is a "theme".

●英語を好きになってもらう

 

ことを目的としたものとなっております。

 

前回（８日）に開催されたDaycareでは、「子どもの日」をテーマに、子どもにも楽しめるような「日本文化」に関する英語の本を読みました。

 

And,母の日のサプライズとして、お迎えに来ていただくときにお渡しするプチギフトを創作しました。

 

ご参加いただいた生徒さんも、プレゼントをもらったお母さんもみんな喜んでくれて、私たちとしても嬉しかったです。

 

５月２２日開催のDaycareテーマは？

The theme of this year's event is『子どもの月をお祝いする（to celebrate Children’s Month）』です。今回のDaycareでは、

 

●英語の歌を学んで

●日本文化にまつわる英語絵本の読み聞かせ

●子どもの月をお祝いするプチクラフト製作

 

をします。ですので、英語に触れ合ってもらいながら、英語が好きになってもらいやすいですし、英語リスニングにも慣れることができます。

 

また、今回読み聞かせをする絵本は、以下の日本文化にまつわる絵本です。

 

どちらの本も、日本の文化に触れていて、お子様が日本文化に英語からでも興味をもってもらえます。ぜひ、この機会にご参加ください。

 

Daycare詳細

●開催日時：５月２２日(土) 9:00〜12:00（＠GLI晴海校）

Target: Children from youngest to eldest (both internal and external students who can be separated from their mothers and children)

 

●持ち物：水筒・スナック・塗り絵

●参加人数：先着３名（※コロナ感染予防の観点から少人数での実施となります）

●参加費：3,000円（※１時間あたりわずか「1,000円」で、英語環境に浸れるのでかなりお得です）
