Q. I am worried about my English level.

A. Although the "English Camp" is for 3 days and 2 nights with foreign teachers, Japanese and Japanese-speaking foreign staff will accompany the children, so children who are not confident about their English ability can enjoy the camp without anxiety.

Q. Are activities such as astronomy and fish cake making in English?

A. The planetarium planner and the instructor for the fish cake making experience are Japanese. Since the activities are conducted in Japanese, you will be able to understand the content better and be more interested in the activities.

Q.I am not a student at GLI. I am worried about making friends.

A. Even if you are a student at GLI, if you come from a different school building, it is often the first time you have met each other. We are comfortable with both students and outsiders. We also have a preliminary meeting so that we can get to know each other a little better before the actual event.

Q.What kind of teachers will participate?

A. Multinational GLI instructors, university student interns (non-Japanese) as leaders of the children, and Japanese staff will accompany the children.

Q.Do the children sleep alone?

A. Each group is assigned a teacher. The instructor is responsible not only for activities, but also for meals, bedtime, and other aspects of daily life.

Q.Can I bring my cell phone?

A. This is a camp for enjoying activities in nature. You may have your child with you for emergency contact, but we may keep them during the daytime activities. Our instructors will send you reports and photos of your child during the camp so that you can enjoy watching your child's enthusiasm.

Q.Do I have to prepare camping equipment?

A. All necessary items such as sleeping bags and tents will be rented at the campsite. If you would like to bring your own sleeping bag, you can also bring your own.
