Hello everyone! My name is Kana from GLI.
The results of the first round of the 2020 Second English Language Proficiency Test have been announced!
Many students passed the first round of examinations!
This time 17 students took the exam, and 14 out of 17 passed the first test of the target level, which is an excellent result!
Today we would like to introduce you to some of our students who have received excellent scores among those who have passed the test✨.
\K-kun Elementary 5 (DD STEAM class) 3Level 1 1st pass/
K-kun, who has been taking the DD STEAM course since this school year, is one of the students who has participated in all of the Seasonal School and International Day events, and is now in his third year of English study at GLI.
This time, after discussing the timing of the exam with the class and the family, he decided to forgo the previous exam and took the time to make a steady effort, and the result was...The score was far beyond my goal of passing level 3 and reaching level 2 ✨.
He has been studying for a long time using word texts, and his hard work is very impressive 🌈.
Other students will start practicing for interviews today as we are preparing for the second round of exams at the end of next week!
I hope all of you who always read my blog will also do your best to overcome the second exam 👍👍.
We mentioned this in our last bulletin.'5th grade students enrolled in the DD STEAM class scored at level 3 (close to level 2).) How were you able to get through the first round of testing?"

What is CLIL...Learn English" instead of "Learn English."Things to do.
It is a form of learning in which students study a topic or subject (math, science, social studies, music, physical education, home economics, etc.) mainly through the English language.
The main characteristics of CLIL are that it places emphasis on understanding the content, focuses on learners' thinking and learning skills (cognition), fosters learners' communication skills, and increases learners' awareness of culture and interculture (interculture). Interculture" is the point at which the learners' awareness of their own culture or interculture is raised.
