21st Century Education] It is during the adolescent years in middle school and high school that we should send our children abroad.
Time to go abroad, feel and think accelerates growth.
Send your child abroad, and do it as early as possible. More and more families are choosing to do so. There are a variety of short-term, long-term, and study tour programs available, but why do so many parents decide that their children need to experience a foreign country anyway?
I think the reasons for this vary widely from family to family. But I am certain that I am,"Letting children experience countries other than Japan from an early age."is very important.

In Japan, trains arrive on time as a matter of course, and people keep their appointments as a matter of course. Tap water is drinkable and there is little garbage on the streets. There are not many countries that maintain the same rules and sanitary conditions as in Japan.
In addition, you will encounter various unexpected events abroad. If you are in Japan, you have family, friends, and school, and if there is a problem, someone will solve it for you, and you know the pattern of solving problems to some extent, so you will be able to overcome the problem in many cases.
But overseas, it is more rare for things to go as planned. However, there are many lessons to be learned in the process of thinking and acting in a situation where no one can help you, and there is no better experience to acquire the "power to live" than this.
And to meet non-Japanese people and experience their way of thinking. Japanese people avoid discussion and feel comfortable with scheduled harmony. However, once you step outside of Japan, assertiveness is the norm. The importance of conveying one's opinions to others is an experience that cannot be gained in Japan.
Feel and think in a different culture where diverse people live. And it is a chance to experience life for the first time with such thoughts as "Japan is blessed.
Why should adolescents go abroad as much as they do?

If they are young, they can start by going abroad with their families during summer vacation, but if you try to send them abroad suddenly as junior or senior high school students, they will not go voluntarily. In many cases, it is only the parents who think that "overseas experience is important.
Boys are especially difficult. Girls with a purpose decide where to go, make preparations, and take action on their own, but this is not the case for boys who have reached puberty. They are not willing to take summer courses, but instead spend the summer doing club activities and hanging out with friends.
As a parent of a boy, I had the same experience, but in our family, I talked to my son about "this is non-negotiable," and we took him abroad four times during the summers of junior high and high school.
Starting with Silicon Valley, where a friend of mine has a company, to Mindanao in the Philippines, where I have a business relationship, to New York for an information session and study abroad experience for an overseas university, and as a Japan-U.S. friendship baseball coach for a junior high school hardball team.
The experience gained abroad will surely come alive when you should decide "what you want to study" during the university entrance examination period. Even as a university student, it can be an opportunity to expand your world, to go one step beyond a life of only part-time work and try going abroad. In the fourth year of university, when you are at the crossroads of your life choices, whether to find a job, graduate school, or study abroad, it will become one of your options.
One cannot imagine what one has not experienced and make self-determination from it, can one?
So, in order to expand the future possibilities and options for children, we say, "If you don't like studying, you don't have to study. But go abroad instead!" Parents should have that much spirit and send their children abroad, don't you think?
