そもそもテキストは世界を学ぶ内容になっています。学ぶ国は先進国よりは途上国の方が多いです。

スタディツアーは途上国へ行って、貧困や教育格差、ゴミ問題、自然保護などを学びます。

英語の先生は途上国から積極採用しています。つい昨日もカンボジアのキリロム工科大学卒の先生がやって来ました。近くミンダナオ島の先生も来ます。

オンライン英会話の先生もミンダナオ島の福祉施設卒業の先生方が多いです。

写真にある様に2カ月に一度ドネーションデイを設けて貧困や教育格差のワークショップをします。途上国出身の先生方に育った環境についてお話をしてもらうワークショップも開催します。

日本は無い物はないけど、時として非常に大事な事が遅れていたりします。

日本では、年間2,759万トンの食品廃棄物等が出されています。このうち、まだ食べられるのに廃棄される食品、いわゆる「食品ロス」は643万トン。

This is,Equivalent to 1.7 times the amount of world food aid (about 3.8 million tons per year in 2009) for people suffering from hunger around the worldI will do so.

Also,食品ロスを国民一人当たりに換算すると”お茶腕約1杯分(約139g)の食べもの”が毎日捨てられていることになるのです（消費者庁）。でも多くの人は食品を無駄にしている意識は無いのではないでしょうか？

また、自然エネルギーの取り組みは他の国に比べて非常に消極的です。これも受験競争の結果かな、と考えてしまいます。勤勉だけど、他の誰かの為や、世界の為、と言う視点は非常に低いと言わざるを得ません。

AOや就職の為にスタディツアーに行って初めて近隣諸国の現実を知る。

SDGsって生徒にとってはおもしろくないんですよね、と言ってしまう教育者もいる。

だから小さい頃から当たり前に世界の貧困や自然の大切さを考える環境が必要なのです。

おもしろいとかおもしろくないとかではないのです。AOや就職の為でも無いのです。

私は、勉強とは本来そうした課題を解決する為にするモノだと思うのです。
