DAY 2

A time to unite our voices and become one in heart

Gospel is not just a time to practice singing.
It is an opportunity to experience a culture that does not lose hope even in the midst of hardship, and expresses the power of “living together” through voice.

As you join your voices with your fellow campers, you will feel yourself open up and experience the joy of connecting beyond differences. It is a day when the atmosphere of the camp quickly deepens into something like a family.

Activities

Gospel practice and demonstration

In gospel music, through singing aloud, we experience expressing our existence and emotions as they are.

Singing loudly, sharing emotions without hiding them, and layering our voices with those of our peers. Each of these actions deepens the connection between the individual and the team. By joining our voices with those of others who have spent the same amount of time together, we quickly shorten the distance between us, and our relationship is transformed into one of mutual recognition.

Japanese and English Language Learning

During this time, Japanese and international participants work in pairs or groups to teach each other the language.

Overseas participants will be challenged to speak Japanese, and Japanese participants will be challenged to communicate in English. Beyond the relationship of teaching and learning, mutual support and learning together will naturally lead to communication.
