The Day it Begins, Connecting with Friends from Around the World
Gathering at Tokyo Station, the 9-day journey begins with friends from across Japan and around the world.
During the orientation, we share why this camp matters now, what we aim to learn, and what we hope to achieve. Through group rules and team activities, participants take their first step not just as attendees, but as “companions who learn and create together.”
Even if you are shy, icebreaker activities are prepared to help everyone open up and connect with a smile.
Activities
Time to get closer to our friends around the world.
The "Orientation" session begins with self-introductions among staff and participants, followed by sharing the overall flow and objectives of the nine-day camp.
In addition, through icebreakers, we create an environment where people can get to know each other naturally, creating an opportunity for people to quickly become closer, transcending differences in nationality and language.
Group Activity Meetings
At the end of the day, each group gathers to reflect on the day and prepare for the next day. They deepen their learning by sharing their feelings and insights, and connect them to the next activity through the next day's preliminary study. Time spent with peers, including bathing and other daily activities, fosters a relationship of trust.
