こんにちは！私の名前はミチです。

私は日本国籍ですが、アジアの東洋の真珠と呼ばれるフィリピン諸島で生まれ育ちました。

私はいつも、異なる文化を学び、多様性の中にある美しさを見るという考えが大好きです。さまざまな立場の人と出会い、自分の経験を広げることが、私の夢でした。そのため、日本に移住することになったときは、サント・トーマス大学で観光管理学（レクリエーション・レジャー管理）を専攻し、理学士号を取得しました。

学生時代にはイマージョン教育やさまざまなアクティビティに参加し、教育的な経験を積みました。また、子供たちや若い人たちに、さまざまな教科、特に英語について教えるボランティアも行っています。

私にとって、教師という仕事は、一見すると簡単な仕事ではありません。というのも、私の性格があまり外向的ではないからです。しかし、もし私がこの仕事を選んだ理由を聞かれたら、それは常に愛と情熱でしょう。

教えること以外に、私が好きで情熱を持っていることをいくつか紹介しましょう。ブログ、旅行、絵を描くこと、バドミントン、料理、ダンス、映画鑑賞、音楽を聴くこと、そしてショッピングなどです。

このほかにも、皆さんと共有したいことがたくさんありますし、皆さんのことを知るのも楽しみです。GLIに遊びに来て、一緒に英語を冒険するように心を込めましょう!

Hi! My name is Michi.

I am a Japanese national but I was born and raised in the Asia’s pearl of the orient, The Philippine Islands!

I’ve always loved the idea of learning different culture and seeing the beauty in diversity. It has always been my dream to meet other people from all walks of life and broaden my experiences. This is why, I used to pursue Bachelor of Science in Tourism Management major in Recreation and Leisure Management at the University of Santo Tomas when I finally decided to move here in Japan.

Besides my educating experiences from immersions and several activities during my schooling years. I also do volunteer teaching to kids and even young adults about different subjects but most especially, English.

For me, being a teacher is not an easy job as it may seem. More certainly because my personality is not outgoing. But if you are to ask me my reasons for pursuing this, it will always be love and passion.

Other than teaching, let me tell you some other things which I love and am passionate about. This includes, vlogging, traveling, drawing, playing badminton, cooking, dancing, watching movies, listening to music, and shopping.
