The Big Mistake of "Learning"
How do you think about "learning"?
Is it "learning" to simply memorize a formula taught to you, or to have the teacher solve the problem and the student copy it down?
Certainly, the act of acquiring new knowledge and taking notes in a notebook is satisfying in that you have learned. However, I don't think it can be said that we have learned in the true sense of the word.
The thing is that,The accumulation of memorization and other patterned exercises, even if you are forced to memorize and solve them, are just individual events with no connection to each other. That is why.
in other words"I'm not learning to think for myself."This is what I mean. However
The cause of "learning the wrong way" is the school.
The thing is that,The reason why old-style classes are biased toward rote memorization is because they are more "lessons for exams" and "lessons for tests".
So, the mindset of "Let's get a good score!" is not about thinking, but about memorizing, and thereforeMore and more children are having difficulty in "thinking and acting on their own. This is why.
If your child has trouble thinking, he or she may be on the verge of falling into this negative cycle. So what can you do about it? That is.
"Communication with your child is key."
