A child with high self-esteem...

Tests of self-esteem were administered to approximately 1,000 children in the 1970s.
The results were then followed up when they reached the age of 30,
Those who had self-esteem seemed to have better health in adulthood, better wages, and a crime rate that was more than four times lower.
Japan still has a
'If you get into a good school, you should be able to get into a good company, get a good job, and get paid better.'
The academic background of the company is deeply rooted.
As a result, many children are working hard to develop their cognitive abilities (as measured by academic achievement tests).
However,No amount of training in cognitive skills alone is likely to lead to a happier child.You can see that this is the case.
Non-cognitive and cognitive abilities

The results show that in the future, what will be required for jobs with higher salaries are people with both high cognitive and non-cognitive skills.
But if we were to focus on either the cognitive or the non-cognitive, which is more important?
Many of the studies that have beennon-cognitive abilityI think I understand, though, that the answer is "yes".
If you have high noncognitive abilities (a heart to contribute to others, perseverance to endure, and self-esteem), you will not give up easily in the face of difficulties.
We have the ability to think about how we can achieve our goals and move forward.
It is important for people to develop non-cognitive skills in order to live happily.
