How do I deal with adolescent boys?

Hello, I am Kaburaki, a representative of GLI.

good day (daytime greeting)'How do I deal with adolescent boys?'We will talk about

Boys enter puberty around the first year of middle school. They stop talking, become more irritable mode, and if you say anything, they immediately cut you off.

This would be a totally incomprehensible phenomenon for a mother who is a woman.

Yes, even the boy himself does not understand. I am not consciously adopting such an attitude myself, and the expression "twitchy" is the honest way to describe it.

If I were a parent, how would I handle this?

wellHow would you deal with that if you were a parent?"I would be curious to know,First, let it go.

I'm sorry. I'm sorry, but if I leave it alone, my parents will get angry if I don't do anything,Say what needs to be said, but don't push too hard and don't lose the attitude that you are concerned,is the correct answer.

He, too, is rebelling, but somewhere inside he is thinking, "What am I doing?

Incidentally, my son had a rebellious period from this time in his first year of middle school to the beginning of the new year (a very short period), and the school contacted him almost every day.

My wife only apologized and continued to make lunch boxes for our son for three years.

He only accepted the lunch box when I handed it to him, and he ate it very neatly. That alone was enough to make me believe in him as a parent, so I did not criticize him for receiving a call from the school or tell him to study harder.

Once I said I didn't want to go to school, so I said, "Well, let's take a day off from school and go have fun together! and we went to see blue note, which was popular at that time.

As a parent, you want your child to learn as much as possible and do as well as possible, but we have seen many examples of how a wrong response can lead to irreversible damage.

It is really strange, but by the time they reach the second grade, they are back to normal as if they are possessed.

Besides, you can make up for about two years of junior high school if you take a summer course. However, if you don't feel upbeat, you won't be able to achieve that either.

If rebellion continues as rebellion against parents, it will not be good for anyone, as they may think of high school as a self-defeating experience.

In the past, in addition to parents, grandparents, neighbors, and many others were close by and involved with the children.

A third party spoke to us in an oblique relationship and kept us connected. The times were also generous.

However, now only the parents are involved with the children in the family. The children have so much to do that they have little time to spare, and the people around them are very critical of them.

Rebellion is like mumps.

Rebellion is like the mumps. Many children get it, and it is a big deal for parents experiencing it for the first time, but it is not a scary disease if handled properly.

But first-time parents don't understand that it's not a scary disease, and there is no grandmother or neighbor to advise them.

GLI is committed not only to English conversation, but also to working with parents to nurture their precious children. We are fortunate to have staff members with a wealth of child-rearing experience.

I would appreciate it if you could think of me as the meddlesome auntie from the neighborhood that you used to know when you didn't know what to do.

These are difficult times, but I hope that we can all take good care of one precious life. Don't worry, you are wonderful just the way you are!

You will shine someday. We treat your child with this in mind. Please feel free to contact us anytime.
